Tournament Preparation
Pre-tournament preparation before major events has always proven to be valuable. We will provide you with high impact sessions highlighting confidence building and honing of patterns of play to help you peek at selected events. Focus will be placed on identifying how you should be setting up points to give you the best chance to do what every player wants to accomplish at tournaments. Win!!

Travel Coaching
Travel coaching is a big part of our developmental philosophy. How a player manages his or her tournament routine can be the difference between being an also ran and finishing first. The best players don't always win their matches. More so the players who played best do. Tier Ones Travel Team has been successful in reaching peak performance by getting mentally and physically ready for each and every match while monitoring their performance from match to match.

A USA/USPTA certified competitive specialist, Robert has traveled across the world with his students to prestigious tournaments like the French & US Opens, Les Petit As (FRA), Windmill Cup (HOL), Banana Bowl (BRA) and Teen Tennis (ENG). Kalamazoo (MI), Easter Bowl (CA), Clay Courts (TN) and the Orange Bowl (FL)) are all on his national calendar each year.

Mental Toughness
Many of the Tier One Tennis students work with Dr. Jorge Valverde (http://www.bmentallytough.com/). The combination of the expert on-court instruction and the huge aspect of mental toughness that Dr. Valverde teaches, results in optimal training. Robert and Dr. Valverde work together with the players so that maximum potential is reached.

Facility
The academy operates out two facilities. Salvadore Park and the William Kerdyk Tennis Center at the Biltmore Hotel. The facilities are blocks apart in beautiful Coral Gables. With the main site at Salvadore (eight clay, five hard), preparation for hard-court tournaments is usually done at the Biltmore courts (10 hard).
